Q: I am not receiving a new password or the one I have received is not working
A: If you are not receiving an email from Zinio in your inbox, please make sure to check your junkmail or spam folder. If you still cannot locate the password reset email there, please call 888.946.4666 for prompt assistance. Our hours of support are M-F, 7am-6pm Pacific.
If you have received a password reset email but it is not being accepted, please make sure that if you are copying and pasting the password you are not highlighting an extra space after the password. Pasting the password with the extra space will add an extra character when trying to change your password. If you are manually typing the password, please note that the password is case-sensistive, which means that you will need to type upper and lower-case letters, as necessary.
If you are upgrading to Internet Explorer 11, make sure you use the recommended settings when you first launch it. This will allow accessing some of the Library’s websites such as the login window for Zinio Magazines. If you run into any other access issue please call the Virtual Library Monday – Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note:As of May 19, 2014, hoopla streaming movies does not work with IE 11.
Where you recently issued a new library card number?
If so,the title on hold may have been associated with the old library card number. Don’t worry, we can take care of it! A member of the Virtual Library team can add your new library card number to your eMedia account and re-do the hold so you are number 1 again. To contact our Virtual Library team call us Monday – Friday at 702.507.6300 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or send us an eMail at email@example.com.
We will need your new Library card number, your name, email address and the title of the book you had on hold.
If your library card number has not changed then it’s possible your email provider has blocked the notification. Whitelisting (non-spam) our sender email address firstname.lastname@example.org should help ensure this does not occur in the future.
This tip is for your EMAIL Account Settings for your user account on Zinio.com.
If you are receiving unwanted email vouchers and promotions from the commercial Zinio.com site then you need to update your settings to NOT receive email offers and solicitations from the consumer side of Zinio.com. Zinio.com email communications require an opt-out step for the on online and mobile app account settings.
Here’s how to do it:
- Go to your Zinio Online account at Zinio.com
- Sign into your account
- Scroll down to account settings (located on right side of page about a quarter of the way down) and click Account Settings
- Select Preferences
- Un-check LET ZINIO DECIDE and any other update settings.
- Scroll down Click save changes
